Life goes on

One thing that's always true in life, it goes on.  We all have had moments when we thought that we couldn't make it any further, but we did.  The only difference between successful people and unsuccessful people are how they deal with hard times.  And the masters understand that hard times can be just around the corner and prepare for them.  Just as the sequel gathered nuts in the summer for the winter, we must prepare for when we're down while we're up.

Is your child worth your pettiness? I ask this question as I think about so many damaged relationships between child and parent. I ask, can you really call yourself a parent if you put your feelings above the best interest of your child? But unfortunately this has become the norm. Just recently I saw a Chick-fil-A commercial and it was saying how they cater to the single parent. Why is this now acceptable, where have we gone wrong. I don't like this place, a place where we have children that are not being fully raised. Due too many factors, from Dad's not being there, moms always working, or fill in the blank. This has to stop because you see how our youth are now a generation of children looking for love.
