The sacrifice

When we think of a sacrifice, we think of not hanging out with the guys or not spending money foolishly. But sometimes love and happiness needs to be sacrificed too. A relationship is work, that is if you want it to be successful. There may be a time when a choice has to be made, your future or our future. This is a tough choice but if you're not successful then that hurts your relationship. Struggling puts pressure on your life and the things in it, your relationships included. My solution is to fall back and get your situation together for you and yours.

Is your child worth your pettiness? I ask this question as I think about so many damaged relationships between child and parent. I ask, can you really call yourself a parent if you put your feelings above the best interest of your child? But unfortunately this has become the norm. Just recently I saw a Chick-fil-A commercial and it was saying how they cater to the single parent. Why is this now acceptable, where have we gone wrong. I don't like this place, a place where we have children that are not being fully raised. Due too many factors, from Dad's not being there, moms always working, or fill in the blank. This has to stop because you see how our youth are now a generation of children looking for love.
