Growth

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. -1 Corinthians 13:11.  Doing the same things in your 30's that you did in your 20's is not growth.  Growth is not easy but staying the same is insane.  Nothing in this world with liv stays the same, even the seasons change.

Is your child worth your pettiness? I ask this question as I think about so many damaged relationships between child and parent. I ask, can you really call yourself a parent if you put your feelings above the best interest of your child? But unfortunately this has become the norm. Just recently I saw a Chick-fil-A commercial and it was saying how they cater to the single parent. Why is this now acceptable, where have we gone wrong. I don't like this place, a place where we have children that are not being fully raised. Due too many factors, from Dad's not being there, moms always working, or fill in the blank. This has to stop because you see how our youth are now a generation of children looking for love.
